These are the ATCs I made for the ATC swap I hosted in June on The {Scrap} Beach. The theme for June was "Hey There June Bug". I made these butterflies from cuts on my Cricut that I flocked with glitter flocking. They were a lot of fun to make and I hope you enjoy watching the video.

"I'm a True B!TCH" tag

These are the tags I made for the Fabulous tag swap Kathryn at The {Scrap} Beach hosted in May. The theme was "I'm a _______ B!TCH". We were to decide what kind of inner B!TCH we are and create a tag using that as our inspiration. I did have a little trouble at first deciding what my inner B!TCH is, but then ......Kathryn to the rescue!!!!! She reminded me that I am a huge "True Blood" fan so I must be a "TRUE" B!TCH. Valentine Card

January Virtual Crop Challenges at The {Scrap} Beach

These are the Lay outs I made for the January Virtual Crop challenges at The {Scrap} Beach. I only finished three challenges but had a lot of fun doing it.

Challenge #1: Quit Smoking. Make a layout without using any black whit or grey.

(This layout is of our beloved Cat Bart when he was a kitten. We put him to sleep the morning I did this layout.)

Challenge #2: Quit drinking. Create a layout without using any ink.

Challenge #6: Invest wisely. Create a layout using something that you just had to have but don't use much.

(My wonderful Cricut is not only the tool I used for this Layout but it is the subject as well)

December Virtual Crop Prize for the {Scrap} Beach

Here is a video of the Vintage Christmas Kit I put together for a prize at tonights Virtual Crop hosted by Kathryn on Ustream. Kathryn has put together a wonderful on line community for scrappers called the {Scrap} Beach. If you have not joined in on the fun before, come on over tonight. She hosts a virtual Crop on the first Saturday of every month starting at 9pm {GMT-5} and goes for six hours. Kathryn is lots of fun and has fabulous ideas to get those photos into scrap pages instead of sitting in the computer. I'm so excited to share with you kit I won at the {Scrap}Beach hosted by Kathryn. This was for the October virtual crop Challenge. I could not believe all the wonderful goodies in this Halloween Kit. October Virtual Crop @ the {Scrap} Beach

These are the LayOuts I did for the Octobers monthly virtual crop at The {Scrap} Beach hosted by Kathryn. The virtual crop is live and viewed via Ustream. There where six challenges but I was only able to complete three. We had so much fun. Kathryn is a fantastic host and she has wonderful challenges that get us to think outside or comfort zone so we can come up with LayOuts that we may not create on our own. My New Bind-It-All

Princess Mini Album

This is my mini album I made with my July GGS kit. The papers from this kit reminded me of my daughter when she was little. She has always been my "Princess".

I just could not stop adding and embellishing, it is a bit over the top :-)

I tend to be a slow scrapper and with this album I figured out why; I just have to do something to every single edge! Nothing will be left unaltered!! Plus I seem to change my mind a lot as I go along so I do quite a bit of thinking as new directions form in my mind.

Monotone Birthday card

I made this card using my favorite Kraft card base. Then on a piece of monotone harlequin paper I heat embossed in copper with my Spiraling Leaves background stamp by B Line Designs and trimmed the lower edge with an edge punch from Martha Stewart. Using the same harlequin paper and copper embossing powder I stamped the sentiment then finished the edge with the embossing powder. Final touch was layering two prima flowers and a rhinestone . This card looks even prettier in person. I hope you try this technique and let me know your results.

Lacy Birthday Card

I made this card using kraft cardstock for the base. I use kraft cardstock as a base for my cards all the time. It's my favorite, just about everything goes with it. I trimmed about 1/2 in off the front edge with a scallop trimmer. Then using my lace edger from EK Success I trimmed both sides of a solid pink card stock then repeated the pattern on a piece of pink and brown pattern paper. This punch reduces the strip by 1/4 inch per side. I inked all the edges of each paper and the card too, Then added the sentiment with the same ink. Then finished it off by layering two Prima flowers and a rhinestone.

Alien Pod Person

I had to share with you what FedEx brought me today........Yes, a giant ball of plastic. At first I was unsure of what to make of this unusual delivery! Was this an Alien Pod Person come to take over the world one Scrapper at a time? Maybe it was a "nice" Alien Pod Person come to assume my identity and go to work in place of me every day so I may stay at home and scrap the day away (very pleasant thought). Or maybe it was FedEx's version of a chain letter, you know where I need to add all the plastic wrap I have to it then send it off to some other unsuspecting scrapper within 48 hrs or some horrible fate may befall me. Well, after getting my over active imagination to go sit in the corner for a ten minute time out I decided to carefully unwrap my Alien Pod Per.......I mean my package ...................................drum roll please...................................

Yes!!!!!! My new ATG!!!!! And 12 rolls of tape!!!! Are those harps and angels singing I hear in the background? No its just my imagination back from it's time out. Thanks for listening to my silly rant :-)

Today I got my first kit from the "Girls Gone Scrappy" club hosted by Marion Smith @ "a Piece of Craft.Com". I was so excited I couldn't wait to get it open. I took a video but discovered my drivers had not been loaded on my laptop for the camcorder so I was unable to down load it to my computer to upload it to my Blog. I'll get it straight soon. I can't wait to get started on this album.

I made this Birthday Card quickly using Sizzix "Curlz" die cuts and Spellbinders Nestabilities, "scalloped small oval.

I highlighted the letters with glitter but walked away while it dried, it got knocked over and the glitter smudged. You can see that in the close up.

This is a sympathy card I made a few months ago. I made the flower using three sizes of Marvy Uchida flower punches. The buckle on the ribbon is from Spellbinders, "Ladies Fashion Buckles". The sentiment is from Rubber Stampeede.
