Pink "Fashion" Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for friends who have birthdays this month. I think it turned out so cute and because I used a product I haven't seen a tutorial or video of on YouTube I decided to do a video/tutorial myself. Here is a close up photo of the finished card and the video. I hope you enjoy the project.

Project supplies to duplicate this project:
Kraft card base
Core' dinations card stock in pink whitewash
Pale pink card stock
Cuttle Bug Swiss Dot embossing folder
die cutting machine
EK Success - Corner Adorner
Cutting device with Pinking cutting blade
VersaMark watermark stamp pad
Pearlescent Chalking Set by Pebbles Inc.
Dress stamp from "Thank You" clear stamp set by Inkadinkado
Happy Birthday sentiment by Endless Creations, Inc.

  1. Oh how adorable! This is a great technique! Time to break out the chalks! Thanks Hope!

  2. Just simply the best, great job. Will have a look for the Pearlescents Chalk Set, never heard of it, but it sure made the stamp stand out. Lovely Hope. Thanks for sharing with us :-]

  3. Hi Hope!! that a very sweet card and great technique. I sure will try that out, thanks for sharing. :D

  4. Awesome technique Hope! Thanks for the video tutorial! The card is beautiful! :)

  5. Hope, thank you for sharing! I have that same set of chalks (got them at A.C. Moore) and have used them often, but never with the versamark. I love the way it turned out. Do you need to set the chalk with spray or anything when you are done?
Thanks again, the card is beautiful. ~Brenda
